Both are marketed in the 249 g class. The FAA says drones weighing less than 250 g are exempt from registration only when flown under the Exception for Limited Recreational Operations. Part 107 aircraft must be registered regardless of weight. Recreational pilots must still complete TRUST and follow current airspace and operating rules.
